This past August, we hosted the first annual Connor Laverty Memorial 3v3 Basketball Tournament in Ocean City, NJ at the 6th St basketball courts. We had over 30 teams participate, totaling 100+ players, high school age and up. We were thrilled with the turnout and so happy we were able to honor Connor while providing an outlet for the community to participate in his favorite sport and biggest passion: basketball. We caught amazing weather that day, and it was truly a blessing to see so many players and spectators come out to support our organization and honor Connor's legacy. It was extremely special to have so many guys who played/coached alongside Connor at OCHS, Widener, and summer league, etc. participate in our event. Connor was and will always be so loved by all who got the chance to know him.
In addition to the 3v3 basketball games going on all day, we were able to have a donation-based bake sale and sell CLMF hats and shirts to raise money for our cause. None of this would have been possible without our sponsors and lots of support from the city of Ocean City, as well as the OC Rec department. Thank you to anyone who volunteered that day, made something for the bake sale, sponsored the event, donated to our cause, or helped in any way. All together we were able to raise over $12,000 for the Connor Laverty Memorial Scholarship (to be distributed to two recipients for the first time in 2025) and Lymphoma/HLH research. We are amazed by the generosity and support of our community. Again thank you for your encouragement as we strive to continue honoring Connor through future events and fundraising initiatives.

With Gratitude,
